Nice hotel in the centre of Rome offering honest good value
rooms. Perfect for young travellers and families. Staff were
really helpful and accommodating. Bathroom was pretty small
but wasn’t a big deal as the main room was pleasant
enough. Seemed like a top 4 star hotel after some of the “3
star hotels” I’ve stayed in. Area around Termini
not great however close to the metro and you can see everything
hopping on and off this.

I recently stayed at the 3 star Hotel Corot during a 2 week
tour of Italy. I didn’t book my rooms in advance as
I wasn’t sure where I was going or when I’d be
arriving. On arrival in the centre of Rome I took a walk round
the station area where there are numerous hotels. However,
be warned: many are to be avoided! I saw 4 which were sub-standard,
very unfriendly and the majority wouldn’t even let me
see the rooms. I was glad to find the Hotel Corot as it is
one of the few hotels in that area which I’d recommend
checking out.
Staff were very friendly and had no qualms about me seeing
a room. Clean, adequately furnished and reasonably priced
I was relieved to dump my bags and begin wandering around
Rome. In the evening the area does get noisy but I would say
that it’s pretty unavoidable in the centre of Rome.
With the window closed and air conditioning on I managed to
sleep peacefully. The hotel is ideal for short weekend breaks.
All the main attractions are so close that I managed to pack
my day seeing a lot of interesting things then return to the
hotel to relax. After a couple of busy days in Rome I relaxed
in Catania away from the hustle and bustle of Rome.

Hotel’s position is perfect. 100 yards from the Stazione
Termini Train Station and all the buses and metro. Hotel is
good: good rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff and kept
very clean. Room was very small but cosy (warm but we had
to ask at reception to turn on the heating!). Third time visiting
Rome and this was definitely the best hotel we have stayed
at. Don’t expect a palace but more than satisfactory.
Will be back.
